Tried everything to get sound until by chance we plugged the small black lead into the microphone port on the computer. Had trouble with the Ulead software provided with the hardware. Tried Pinnacle 11 instead and was capturing video immediately. Other: Once we got a successful capture every other capture we did was easy and trouble free. I now keep my DVD Video/VCR Combo permanently attached to my desktop.
